ExPrT’s “Green” Commitment to Sustainable Alternatives

At ExPrT, we have taken the “Design Can Change” Pledge. In our professional practice, we will endeavor to:

1. Learn: Engage in the topic and seek to understand the issue
2. Think: Make a sustainable mindset second nature
3. Act: Put our knowledge to use in our daily work
4. Inform: Share information and build awareness of sustainability

The following are little things ExPrT is doing on the path to sustainability.

• Design and Strategy

- Design signs and graphics for re-use
- Maximize the shelf-life of our designs
- Employ targeted efforts instead of mass mailings
- Offer on-screen proofing
- Use office scrap paper for sketching and brainstorming

• Production

- Use local vendors when possible
- Offer “green” choices for our clients
- Keep tabs on the latest printing and production technologies

• Business Strategy

- Emphasize e-marketing, limiting our reliance on printed promotions
- Provide preferential pricing to organizations who embrace sustainability
- Research and offer "green" sign and graphic material alternatives.

• At the Shop

- Recycle paper, cardboard, aluminum and all of our computer equipment and ink cartridges
- Preference for rewritable formats and web services instead of disposable media
- Embrace a green lifestyle at home

The Story of ExPrT

Russ DuQuaine and Scott Siebenlist started out working together for another exhibit company in Brookfield, Wisconsin. There they developed the nick-names “Sign Guy” and “Exhibit Man” for their uncanny ability to get things done on time, every time.

Opening ExPrT in 1996, Russ and Scott joined forces to provide the best resources for all things trade show. Now, after eleven years, they continue the tradition of sharing their experience, creativity and dedication for each and every project.

Scott’s trade show experience dates back to 1980 and Russ has been in the sign/graphic industry for over 15 years. Together with the great ExPrT team, they enjoy creating all kinds of exhibits, graphics, and signs.

A premier sign company and exhibit house, ExPrT Exhibits, Graphics & Signs is located in Menomonee Falls, which is a village in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. We are happy to be centrally located in the Metro-Milwaukee area and serve clients throughout the United States.
